Captain Bubby’s IsLAND Tours selected to host Songwriters

Captain Bubby’s is honored to be chosen as a host attraction for the 2015 Island Hopper Songwriter Fest by the Lee County Visitor & Convention Bureau. The annual Island Hopper Song writer Fest returns with dozens of star studded performers set to play against the tropical backdrop of Captiva Island , Fort Myers Beach, and for the first time; historic downtown Fort Myers in Southwest Florida. This year’s fest will include 70 Artists, 136 Performances, 23 venues and four headliners: Kristian Bush, Jana Kramer, Parmalee and LOCAS


The festival kicks off September 17-20 on Captiva Island and features dozens of performances at the island’s most popular venues along the famous and eclectic Andy Rosse Lane. New to the festival, downtown Fort Myers will feature midweek performances highlighting the lively bars, restaurants, theaters, and boutiques in this revitalized historic river district. The festival closes the weekend of September 25-27 on Fort Myers Beach. With a little more of a rock n’ roll vibe, performances captivate crowds at trendy beach bars and restaurants in the island’s bustling Times Square area. Check out performances by area:

All performances are free except for Kristian Bush (Captiva, Sept. 17) and Jana Kramer (Fort Myers Beach, Sept. 22). Tickets for those shows cost $15. Parmalee is sold out. All other seats are on a first -come basis and dependent on capacity of the venue
