Sanibel…A Nature Lover’s Paradise

LineShadow-1000px

Sanibel and Captiva Islands emerged from the Gulf of Mexico approximately 6,000 years ago

About 3,500 years ago the Calusa Indians discovered the islands and built a thriving civilization along these shores. Pirates and fishermen from Cuba to modern day travelers have been coming to their shores ever since. Even before being designated a Sanctuary Island in 1963, Sanibel Island has protected its habitat and wildlife insuring that it remains a very special place for Island guests and those who call the Island home.

Welcome to our Sanctuary Island

We invite you to spend a week at Island Vacations and spend a day exploring the area with Captain Bubby’s IsLAND Tours.
